Gameplay
There are two different styles of play, classic, and speed play.
Both games are for 2+ players and can also be played in teams.
Classic Rules
• Split timer and category cards, shuffle and place face down
• One player turns over a category card and then a timer card
• They state a number of answers they can give from the category within the timeframe
• This continues around the group, with each player stating a higher number or challenging the previous player
• Once challenged, the player must answer the stated amount within the timeframe
• If successful, they win the card. If unsuccessful, the player who challenged wins the card. Return the timer card to the bottom of the pile
Etiquette
• Some cards have a blank on them, these should be filled in by the player that turns over the card before turning over the timer card
• One player in the group should be in charge of the timer
• Another player should be in charge of counting the number of answers given
• Questionable answers should be counted, but checked at the end and chalked off if incorrect
• Unless specified, all answers can be for past and present
• Decorum should be observed and distractions kept to a minimum (unless you want to count down the last ten seconds to add pressure)
• Arguments will occur, that’s part of the fun. Group consensus rules for any debates
Speedplay Rules
• Shuffle the category cards and place face down, the timer cards are not needed
• One player turns over a category card and names one answer for the category
• This quickly continues around the group, if you delay for more than a few seconds, you are out
• Players are eliminated one by one until one player remains, they are the winner and win the card
Etiquette
• For questionable answers we would suggest temporarily pausing the game to check
• Unless specified, all answers can be for past and present
• Decorum should be observed and distractions kept to a minimum (unless you want to count down the time to add pressure)
• Arguments will occur, that’s part of the fun. Group consensus rules for any debates
